  1. Water. Found in taps.

  2. Ruth Z says:

    White vinegar!!!!
    Borax, baking soda, ammonia….

How to use them – check out (book store or library) the Queen of Clean.
They are cheap and available at Walmart.

Vinegar will polish and kill germs / smells/ and mold.
Borax whitens without bleach – also good for toilets….
Coke (the soda) will cut lime and rust……

Probably the best is vinegar- good for just about everything from cleaning grease to windows. Smelly at first but clears up within minutes. Your local 99 cent store or grocery.

Try Simple Green or the cheaper form mean green. Its non toxic. I’m not sure if that means eco-friendly though. Works great and smells minty!

  6. Jennifer says:

clorox has started making this stuff called green works! they make all kinds of cleaner and i buy mine at walmart! its cheap and a little bit goes a LONG way!

Clorox just came up with a new product it’s called “Green Works”
I bough it at Wal-Mart but you can get it anywhere.

Ruth Z’s ideas are correct. I also use vinegar or lemon juice. By the way, lemon juice & table salt are great for cleaning copper.
Isn’t it curious that everyone seems to be going “green” and coming up with old products, when things our grandmothers used work better & are a whole lot cheaper.
