MNMom asked:

I have naturally curly hair and am looking for eco friendly or organic products to use on my hair. Any suggestions?
Has anyone tried the Deva curl products?? I have heard mixed reviews and they are a bit of the pricey side-so I have hessitated. Thanks :)

paul mitchells foam or round trip… paul mitchell don’t test on animals. and low in frangrances. i would say with your curly hair, you will need something in the products to control the unruliness. \
the idea of doing eco friendly and organic is pleasing but yet those products tends to dry the hair out.. because there is nothing in them. might as well just wash your hair with plain hot water..good luck

Sexy Hair has an organics line. I use the conditioner and it works really well. You can also google organic hair products. I’m sure there’s a lot out there that we don’t know about.

Organic is tough for curls. Most stuff that claims to be organic is really just substituting one new chemical that is not on any “bad list” for one old. So…

Gotta put Mixed ****** products (www.mixedchicks.net) on the list. Stuff is great. You can use their wash and go system:

    Shampoo
    Detangle with the deep conditioner
Work the leave in throughout wet hair
    Air dry.

    P.S. don’t shampoo too often.

try mop (modern organic products) they have a great professional hair care range. They have a sub range that is for curly hair too.
