are eco friendly cleaning products like ecover as effective as conventional ones eg the toilet cleaner?

eco friendly product
Bren asked:

i like things to be spotlessly clean and these products are a bit more expensive. the reason im asking is i went to someones house the other day where they use these products but they dont have kids, i liked the smell of the products.

I have not found that to be the case, although I have only tried the washing up liquid

i use ecover for the loo and the dishes (not the same product lol) and they seem fine to me

im happy to sacrifice a little effectiveness for a safer more environmentally friendly product

Yes. Much healthier too. Bleach and other such products produce fumes – some can be actually quite hazardous to your health – probably more so than a bit of a dirty toilet!

Let’s face it, and at the end of the day, you can’t beat good old elbow grease!

  4. I use “Simple Green” for everything. It’s eco friendly and works great.
